Samantha is the daughter of Richard Beckinsale, and has a half-sister Kate (who seems to have far greater Web coverage). She first appeared on television in London's Burning on ITV. She also appeared in Time after Time with Brian Conley, and played Lorraine in Coronation Street. She did a series of TV ads for Nat West Bank, in which she played "Mum". She is currently (August 1998) appearing in "Duck Patrol" on ITV Sunday evenings at 8:00pm.
